Invalid: pre-starting-point name. Komárek & Anagnostidis (2005: 442) cite "Phormidium versicolor Wartmann in Rabenhorst 1861 ex Gomont 1892" for this binomial [apparently also including it as Heteroleibleinia versicolor (Wartmann) Gomont on p. 252], butPhormidium versicolor was not validated by Gomont (1892: 147) but was merely listed as a synonym of Lyngbya versicolor Gomont (q.v.), the earliest valid name for this entity; includsion as a synonym cannot be regarded as validation. - (1 Apr 2014) - M.D. Guiry
